Shri Putha Krishna Reddy, son of Shri Putha Narasimha Reddy, hails from the Kamalapuram Constituency in Kadapa District. His father, a highly respected politician, stood firmly for the constituency and its people, tirelessly addressing issues for their benefit, while Chaitanya Reddy gradually took on his father’s political responsibilities. In line with the party’s vision to promote young leadership and with the backing of his father’s legacy, Chaitanya Reddy was named the official TDP candidate for Kamalapuram in 2024. He contested against Pochimareddy Ravindranath Reddy, a relative of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chaitanya Reddy’s dynamic leadership, powerful speeches, and strong support among the youth helped him secure a historic victory with a majority of 25,357 votes, marking TDP’s first win in Kamalapuram in 20 years.
